The tour in a nutshell:
Bruny is a little different from our other Mystery Picnics. We keep you in the North of the island as phone reception isn’t great on Bruny. But after your picnic we give you a list of places to go and check out.
Your Ferry ticket is included and you'll begin in Margate. Then you’ll cross the D’Entrecasteaux Channel on the Bruny Island ferry. A mixture of dramatic and serene coastal driving awaits on the Island. Bruny is well known for native wildlife and winding roads, so please drive to the conditions.
Our venues are well established, and ready for all weather conditions so you can eat as you go (it is Tasmania, after all). Each stop on our Bruny Island tour will delight and warm you.
Expect a proper coffee (or a cold drink) to start, followed by the world's greatest oysters, cheese tastings and more.
Ideal for:
adventurers ok with a short (15 to 20 minute) ferry trip;
folks who love coastal driving; and
smaller groups (up to 4 people) who love cheese and shellfish.
